About the Artist

Hi! I'm Ashley, a Minnesota-based photographer and the heart behind Solace Deep Photography.

For me, photography has never been about simply capturing something beautiful. It's about noticing the moments that make the world feel quiet again-the light slipping through a dark forest, a storm gathering over an empty landscape, the last warmth of sunset, or the moon glowing through bare branches.

Solace Deep was born from my connection to those moments. 

There is something healing about the untouched places of the world. Nature asks nothing of us. It doesn't need us to explain ourselves or have everything figured out. Sometimes it simply gives us somewhere to breathe.

That feeling is what I search for every time I pick up my camera.

Every photograph in Solace Deep begins as a real moment I encountered while wandering the landscapes around me. I turn those photographs into art for the home and small pieces you can carry with you-not simply as decoration, but as reminders of places and feelings worth holding onto.

My work tends to live somewhere between light and darkness; quiet, earthy, sometimes a little haunting, and always deeply connected to the natural world.
